SCHOOL VISITS
An ideal place to learn and connect with nature.
At s’Hort de Sa Vall, students can discover and learn about cultivation, the importance of bees, food selection, and the significance of local products.
Each visit is tailored to the level of each group, with our technicians and/or engineers guiding the visit.
School visits are designed for children from 3 years old to university. During each visit, students will get the most out of it.
We divide the visits into 4 blocks, although, as mentioned earlier, they are adapted to each level. The organization of visits will be sent to organizations in advance.
Visit to the crops
A route through the fields of Hort de Sa Vall, where they can see and learn about seasonal fruits and vegetables. They will also plant a vegetable that they can take home and care for, then share it at a meal with their family.
Apiculture
They learn about the importance of beekeeping in cultivation, get to know the different types of bees, and can also touch a honeycomb and try on a beekeeper's suit.
Greenhouse
Observation of the environment, experimentation, and a question round to better understand how seasonal fruits and vegetables are grown.
Selection of vegetables
In the greenhouse, the vegetables are carefully selected. Those in good condition are prepared for shipping to customers, those that cannot be sold are prepared for donation, and the rest are prepared for feeding livestock.
